Future Students

Oakland Community College maintains one of the state’s lowest tuition rates while ensuring the same high-quality education available at other colleges and universities. With support from the state of Michigan and Oakland County, the affordability of an OCC education is notable – typically one-quarter to one-half the cost of similar public or private higher education institutions over a comparable two-year period.

Tuition is based on the number of credit hours taken times the cost per contact hour and differs for in-county and out-of-county residents. In addition to tuition and fees, each student is expected to purchase their textbooks and supplies. The College provides financial aid and numerous scholarship options for eligible students.
