Future Students

Oakland Community College maintains one of the state’s low tuition rates while ensuring the same high-quality education available at other colleges and universities. With support from the state of Michigan and Oakland County, the affordability of an OCC education is notable – typically one-quarter to one-half the cost of similar public or private higher education institutions over a comparable two-year period.

Tuition is based on the number of credit hours taken times the cost per credit hour and differs for in-county and out-of-county residents. In addition to tuition and fees, each student is expected to purchase their textbooks and supplies. The College provides financial aid and numerous scholarship options for eligible students.

Oakland Community College is composed of campus sites conveniently situated to serve all geographical areas of Oakland County and also operates an additional location to assist in the conduct of College operations.

The core of all instruction and learning activities is on the campuses. Each campus is proud of the range of programs, personal services, community events and laboratory facilities that are available to all students. At the heart of each campus is a dedicated faculty and staff, eager to provide a meaningful college experience.
